L to P Driving School is pleased to be able to offer our students the opportunity to further their driving skills by taking the Pass Plus accreditation

Newly qualified drivers are much more vulnerable than they realise. Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident within their first two years of driving than at any other time in their driving career.

- Two young people under 25 die every day in crashes in Great Britain

- In their first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in a crash

Question. What is Pass Plus?

The PASS PLUS scheme is a voluntary scheme introduced to newly qualified drivers offering even more training to make them even better and more aware of the road, developing their existing skills and acquire new skills.  You must complete a minimum of 6 hours’ driving lessons, and achieve the required standards in order to pass. The topics covered are:

  • All-weather driving,

  • Driving on rural roads.

At the end of the course you will be rewarded with a certificate and when you insure your car, you could be entitled to 25% off of your insurance premium, (check with your insurance company to be certain).
